Wordle in hours, not a jiffy. Although it's a 3 guess solution, from nifty to jiffy required a nap from midnight till 6 am, plus a nightmare. When I woke up, I solved it in seconds. Streak is at 80. 😅Whew!

I went through the exact same process. I only had a yellow I and no other vowels so probably a Y at the end. Luckily I was able to fit in a word with 3 new consonants.

It's not a short: always a bad sign. Another edge-of-the-seat little drama, but with a glorious happy ending! 😻 I found this one brutally hard: shirt, gland, crumb, picky, jiffy. This, ladies and gentlemen, is what flailing looks like! But I did get there, rather slower than Mark.

When you said JIFFY, I was Play it! Play it! Play it! - as so often, you'll actually say the answer but then annoyingly, play something else....lol.

I got really stuck with this one. I went for LAUGH and NOIRE which eliminated the vowels with a decent set of consonants. That gave me only a yellow I. At this point I deduced that the I must be 2nd, the word ends in Y and sandwiched between them is almost certainly a double consonant.
That's where the struggle began. 🥴 I went with WITTY DIDDY CISSY JIFFY. 🥵

DIDDY was a gamble coz it's a lovely Wordle word....lol! 🤔 (it's gotta come up sometime). 😅

I don't think I had any other options by the end. Managed to get it without straying outside the hard mode rules (I don't play in hard mode but I aim to always adhere to all the information from previous guesses, unless I make a deliberate decision not to).
