Moved to Colorado Springs from Hawaii when I was 18. If I can't have the ocean, might as well have the mountains. Started my family here and havent regretted one bit of moving. Fun fact: Its a city ordinance that Developers cannot build above certain height restriction so their buildings do not block the view of Pikes Peak.

Been living in the springs since the 90s. It's a nice cozy place to live especially in the winter with the mountains. I like the 4 seasons here, get a little bit of everything 👍✨

My second favorite place in the US next to home (San Antonio). If I wasnt priced out of the place now I would consider going back. Awesome place if you like being outside!

Nice clip. I always enjoyed the area during the 70's. Woodland Park was one of my favorite places to train in the country. Always enjoyed the ride to Cripple Creek and hiking up Pikes Peak. The Garden of the Gods was an inspiring uplift.

I drove up to Pikes Peak about 20 years ago and that was my only time in Colorado Springs.

I see a lot of comments about it being ruined by so many people going there. Here in the Rust Belt, the industry, jobs, and people left which has caused ruin. Rarely is there a happy medium.

My parents met nearby in the 50’s but I haven’t visited since I was a teenager, so thank you!

I’ve only been to Colorado once and that was a recent trip to Colorado Springs but we spent all of our time in Manitou springs and pikes peak. We did see Garden of the gods too. I need to see more of COS and Denver! Maybe some small mountain towns too

Amazingly informative video. I love the concept of your channel - tell about the cities without taking too much time and with great footage. Subscribed! And I'm sure you'll hit a hundred thousand subscribers before you know it.

The Shrine is included with your daily admission to the Cheyenne Mountain Zoo. Its worth the drive up there.

I'm from C Springs. I moved away many years ago and remember it with great love and nostalgia, even though much of it is now ruined. I NEVER knew that Spencer Penrose was interred in the Will Rogers Shrine. Thank you for teaching this old dog something new.

I used to have a view of the Holly sugar building from my home. It was the only tall building downtown. I loved my yard there and wouldn’t go back now on a bet.

Being a native of Co. and living in Colorado Springs all my life the sites and places are great but you fail to tell of the lack of high paying jobs because it's a military town with no manufacturing, the only real way to make it is having a service related business
