A good book to read about this is "An Era of Darkness" by a very knowledgable man named Shashi Tharoor. He basically destroys any argument that British colonisation brought any form of good to India or Indians in it

It's funny how it's only Westerners think that India benefited from British colonial rule meanwhile the whole of India vehemently disagrees.

India's literacy rate when they got freedom from colonialism was literally 13% now it's nearing 80%. That alone somewhat tells how the British did nothing that benefits people, just did things that benefitted themselves

Not to mention, the horrible atrocities done by the British against the Indian subcontinent.

India would be a better place today if the British treated them with respect and traded fairly with them instead of subjugating them, brutalizing them, and siphoning their wealth and resources for decades.

Make a richest country poorest and divided an united subcontinent into literally more than three countries is good for India😆

Summary of Indian GDP (1-1947 AD)

From the 1st century AD to the start of British colonisation in India in the 17th century, India's GDP was between about 25 and 35% of the world's total GDP, which dropped to 2% by Independence of India in 1947.

If someone breaks your spine, then teaches you how to walk again—but now you walk for them, on their path, and never get to run where you wanted…

Lol imagine thinking British Colonialism made India better after attempting to destroy the deep history and culture of one of the most ancient civilizations.

He should stick to Masculinity and Life in general not Geopolitics

Andrew Tate also thinks that not covering your head in a fight is a good idea that's why he's still stuck at the immediate level as a fighter while claiming he's on elite level. So I wouldn't put much faith in his word.

It's Britain that's in a better place now because of colonising India.

They killed millions during that 200 years which nobody will talk about.
They used to open fire at any sort of protest by Indians.
They even passed laws which allowed Britain to arrest anybody they want without any reasons.
Britain built the railway in India but not for the people. It was built to transport loot to sea ports.
People were denied education, food, or any sort of development.
Obviously there were few viceroys who wanted to rule India for Indians but those guys were removed from the power very soon by the queen.
The manufactured famines during world wars killed a lot a of people in india because britain decided to take all the supplies from India to the soldiers.
So ya, If anybody thinks Colonialism was good any country, that means you are sick and still secretly proud of what your ancestors did to millions of people around the globe.
