My grandfather was a runner on a smaller scale. Had a 46 ford that hed swap parts out of like nobodies business. Damn near could build a whole other car with the amount of part he had. It was hard to pull him away from watching NASCAR He passed about a year and a half ago. While he never went out of his way in his later years to go out and buy another 46 he'd always talk about wanting to drive one again. He never got to. Later this year I bought my 92 miata that I plan on making into a drift car with whatever spare money I have with my father. Just a few weeks later my dad and I are changing the oil when he says "I wanna show you something later, dont get jealous" We go driving and we stop in front of this house I've never been to. A older man comes out and shakes my hand and invites us back into his shop. He talks about this car he has all of the original parts for, pictures, parts books, manuals, paperwork. I look at my dad and ask what hes getting from this man, they both smile at each other. They take me to the car and pull the cover off. A deep red wine red 46 ford coupe with the flat head v8, all original just like my grandfather used to drive back in the day. While I'm sad we couldn't have found this car before my grandfather passes I mutter to my dad "Dont you ever let this car go, you need money you come to me first" I know at the end of the day my dad will make his own decision about what to do with the car. I'm just hoping to drive it like my grandfather once did.

I wish Nascar was still STOCK cars. It would make it so much more interesting to watch. Instead they have shells that somewhat resemble a car that a manufacturer has put out

Fun fact 75% off alcohal in the United states during prohibition came through Detroit, with people driving over the frozen Detroit River to Canada. Purple Gang ran Prohibition

Little early to consider Ryan Blaney in the legendary talk Nolan. Get your stuff together! His podcast, Glass Case of Emotion, is really good though.

I’d love them to make a second channel, specifically about other vehicles. Planes etc. amazing teaching style.

I grew up in rural NC. Every man and boy learned how to build cars. Muscle cars were for fun, not overpriced museum pieces like today. I knew many crazy guys that drove like maniacs. Very skilled maniacs .I was one of the only girls who weren't scareable, loved those days.
