THANK YOU!!!! I just upgraded my living room gear, and this video is exactly what I've been looking for.

I just got mine. They shipped it in the same box as yours by freight. It took a couple big hits and I have to get a new top and doors. They’re sending me replacements. Careless packing on the part of Salamander.

Guess what? If anyone ever wants to put in those back panels, you have to take off the top by unscrewing the screws underneath. Once you have the top off, you then have to remove the top rail. Then you can slide in the panels. Reverse the process to reassemble. Have a set of imperial measurement hex wrenches handy. It’s up there with Ikea furniture as far as assembly.

This was an excellent video that gave me information I wanted as I'm considering Salamander. I too am having an issue with the depth of the cabinet as my Yamaha integrated amp with cabling is way too deep for most everything. I was surprised yours was assembled, but I'd think that the larger ones wouldn't be. Their website and sellers don't provide much info, and I didn't realize the back panels were plastic. Yes they are expensive, and the one I'm considering is $2, 500 without any accessories.

Unfortunately some of the commenters are not only rude but just plain stupid. There are a wide variety of styles available but they can't be bothered to investigate. Some are traumatized by the doors, and if they looked they would find that some don't have them. Saying it looks old fashioned is narrow minded, as many people like a more retro look. I really like yours but that model isn't right for my situation. I really appreciate the time you took to make this video as it is very helpful.

Looks like you got a Denon AVR (nice choice) however Denon advise 6 inches space above free for air flow which you don't seem to have. You can read the specs. For airflow requirements for their AVR's on their website

Great video. Looking for something like this for the office theater we’re putting together and this is an excellent option.

Are you going to add a couple of fans for cooling?

Looks nice and good quality. But that price is ridiculous.

Good looking, well-designed AV cabinet. And probably pricey. Even more impressive is your 77" OLED TV. 😁
