Vinland Saga Author has the Biggest Balls for taking such a Huge shift from a Action Packed Arc to a fully focused Arc on Thorfinn's Character Development, With Barely any Action Makoto Yukimura has all my Respect .

This anime is IN A LEAGUE by itself. Even the "slow" moments are shockingly good. The characters are extremely believable, nuanced, impactfully and well developed. THEM ALONE, can carry the story if nothing else worked. I never imagined in my life that I'd be enjoying watching Farming simulation but this anime CHANGED my mind. _This, _ and Frieren, are what we called Genre Defining Anime. Anime that are SO GOOD, we give them a "New Tier."

I think this show did a good job showing how cruel and brutal the Vikings were. Alot of people see them as cool warriors who fought honorably but have no idea about the looting and pillaging that they did. Im glad this show didn't hold back and didn't portray the main characters as all good honorable people.
