SpaceX Starship Flight 5 Launch Confirmed, the Countdown Begins...REPLAY#10
Let's get started!
Starbase is bustling with activity across all systems, especially with SpaceX testing and recent updates indicating that Flight 5 may be closer than expected.
We may not have to wait until late November. So, what’s the reason behind this?
Meanwhile, SpaceX has successfully launched the Falcon 9 return-to-flight mission. In contrast, Blue Origin’s suborbital mission was aborted, once again leading to disappointment.
There's a lot to cover, so let’s explore the latest developments on today’s episode of Great SpaceX.
SpaceX Starship Flight 5 Launch Confirmed, the Countdown Begins...REPLAY#10
Following the first full-stack test late last month, SpaceX has continued ramping up operations, including critical testing with Chopstick.
Immediately after these steps, a new road closure schedule was announced, indicating an important test was approaching.
By late October 4 and early October 5, the hot staging ring was lifted back onto Booster 12. By the afternoon of October 5, Ship 30 had been moved into position and was held by Chopstick. That same evening, the second full-stack was completed.
Following this, SpaceX was ready for an essential test involving Flight 5 hardware.
On the morning of October 7, Highway 4 was closed, and by noon, the launch pad was cleared with venting observed at both the Orbital Launch Mount and the launch tower. By approximately 14:50 CDT, fuel was loaded into all the tanks of Ship 30 and Booster 12, with frost appearing on the rocket. Notably, the frost didn't rise too high, suggesting the fuel load was not at full capacity.
This process lasted around 20 minutes before detanking began, and the road was subsequently reopened.

On October 8, SpaceX conducted another test of the water deluge system. It still sprayed water up with nominal force after a long period of inactivity, indicating that the test was successful.

The Faa stated that Starlinnot a certifid craft and was under Nasa control not theirs . My question is how is starship any different in that respect as it is still under development and Not crtified for crewed flight ?

Is this not all the same info as the last vid? And there's no confirmation of a launch yet? Click bait hard. Thumbs down and still not subbing

If they miss the pins, can the grid fins take the weight, so that the rocket can just hang on the tower

Sunday the 13th would be a very auspicious day for the launch. I hope that's the date they settle on.

SpaceX already made their money from that booster, no reason to sacrifice a new one when the oldest one can be used. I no longer am concerned with BO, I will wait until they become more than a rich man's carnival ride.

“Hey Bill Nelson, if you want us to meet our milestones for the Moon lander, you need to put a leash and a muzzle on Whitaker from FCC, EPA, and FWS’

Cant wait. Trump needs to get in office and tell FAA to get lost. Mars here we come!!❤

The FAA 19th century processes were designed around space infrastructure that has changed considerably they must be able to support an iteratively fast-paced technology change out 60-day notification on simple things like this is utterly ridiculous

Test 5 will be a complete success. Looking forward to the 'catching' of Starship, following successful booster catch!

Good luck with approach to tower my guess it will approach at correct level then move back to sea to settle. This may be the test that tells the future is possible.

Lol if they going nuts over few mishaps, and they licking Boeings buts

SpaceX had not even decade to perfect their manufacturing & diagnostics & checks

Boeing had planes flying for more than a decade and yet it’s ok if couple Boeings crash killing few people onboard 😂 but falcon 9 topples because leg gives up omg it’s disaster . Meanwhile plane crashes oh well it happens 😂😂😂😂😂😂

No amount of money or gold is worth losing our planet from an asteroid, meteorite, or comet, or the options we can only imagine!

On your first story about updating the Starship launch, I believe that NASA should be approving licensing Space flights in lieu of the FAA. They have come a long way from their errors in the Shuttle Challenger flight of 1986 where they mistakingly granted the launch date despite below freezing temperatures. Safety of the environment as well as the astronauts is the prime importance of a regulating agency, and as long as NASA can guarantee the safety option before any flight, they should be allowed by the Federal Government to proceed in this operation.
