Remember each of these games took a few kilobytes of memory (basic cartridge was 4kB), it's basically the size of a single animated emoji. Considering the hours of fun on them, it's an insanely high fun/byte ratio.

Brings back such GREAT MEMORIES, We had so much fun on Friday and Saturday nights just playing these games and it was even more fun watching my Mom trying to play them.She was such a fun sport at these and she`d laugh so hard when she was doing badly but we had so much fun, i miss those days very much

Primitive though they may appear by today's standards, these games were magical when they fist appeared. And some of them are quite playable today. I was never able to "clock" Space Invaders as a kid, but I somehow managed to do it as an adult, using an Atari 2600 emulator! How often does one meet a childhood objective as an adult?

Great list. Lots of personal favorites on here you don't often find on the best-of videos, especially with the Supercharger getting the love it deserves. I'd love to see a similar list focusing on the modern homebrews for the system. Who would've ever thought we'd see a Robotron clone on the 2600?
