I am a developer so I don't really need that much graphic power but portability, build quality and OS stability has more preference so I would still go with MacBook air.

i M a MacBook air I use CAD and many more graphics work, do gaming using external HDD and speed of this Mac is best plus its display is glossy which looks perfect and it's anti-glare so I suggest you people to buy MacBook Air. Man this is By Apple and they use EXCELLENT quality materials to make their products so no compromise.

It is not the hardware, it is the software you pay for. It will outperform most of the windows laptops in general tasks just because of its optimization. And please, *Apple Never Said a MacBook to be a Gaming Laptop.*

What about the weight factor? Comparable windows machines are costed much high. One of the reasons, people buy MacBook is its mobility. They never advertised for speed or GPU. It is a workstation for programmers, not an entertainment device.

I am a software developer who has an iphone 7. Reasons I am buying this in 2017 are:

I want to connect my phone to my laptop.
I want USB ports, still we are few years behind to not have them at all.
I love its magnetic charger.
I am getting it for 50k from Amazon at no interest EMIs.
I want a unix based machine, not windows. - Deal Done.

Happy with my macbook air from 2017. The ease of use of the mac operating system is what I still perfer. And I don't run graphicly intense tasks so I'm considered very safe on that regard.

1) Can we directly connect any iPhone to this directly with any cable "
2) Can i use my windows USB mouse and usb western digital HDD 1TB directly on this Mac ( my HDD has a lot of data like movies and office docs so i cant format it )
3) Is it easy to use Macbook and iPhone for a first time user ( having used Windows all my life since 1998)
4) Is copy paste east from macbook to external devices like my pen drive or any Android or Apple phone ?
