I think calling something unconscious is misleading because something is conscious of that. I think that is what he first discovered way back when. That’s something was observing the terrible thoughts he was having and therefore had to be different from those thoughts. That running commentary is actually coming from a brain structure, the default mode network. It’s ready to jump online anytime we are not involved in any specific task. That’s one of the reasons why meditation is often a process of asking you to pay attention to something that is not the stream of thoughts but that flow of thoughts is also where creative ideas come from.

let me break this down as I see it, logically.
Entity is a thing with distinct and independent existence. That means you are not an entity because you are not free from outside control, which is what independent existence means. Therefore you are being controlled by an entity that is distinct and independent existence from within. Unfortunately so called teachers and guru's do not have a clue how your entity within derived and if they don't know by now, they will die not knowing.
You your lineage inception has already manifested from the elements of the universe and transcended. That means your linage inception was initially FORMED from elements, not BORN ( biology), however both are in a symbiotic relationship. Of course you have thoughts in your head because your Formed source is attempting to enlighten your physical brain of its presence within.
You dont need analogies to explain that.
