Both Sapiens and Homo Deus changed my view of the world in a way that nothing else has before. Thank you Yuval for sharing your knowledge with us and I hope we Palestinians and you Israelis can live together as just sapiens.

I am from Afghanistan. Your books are amazing. I would like to translate Homo Sapiens to my own language Pashto.

Update: The Translation is in progress. Thank you all for the support. I see there is also a lot of people full hatred and ignornance in the world. Just by seeing my name or the language I mentioned they think they know everything about me.

Maybe the world will be a better place if people do not hate those who are different from them.

To tell a gay that you are normal and the same as others is really a beautiful story. You can also tell a 3 arm child you are natural and don’t need surgery. Because you exist and some others also have 3 arms.

Yuval after listening to Homo Sapiens and Homo Deus, I feel more relaxed about life and look at society with an objective view. Thanks your wisdom inspired me!

It's the first time I've seen Yuval speak about something so personally... What a cutie!

Didn't know Yuval was gay, I guess most people do not know this as well. In Sam Harris's waking up podcast Sam asked Yuval if he has children, to which Yuval reluctantly replied "I just have dogs".

Befor his books i was super fanatisist muslim, and i was so stupid, i didnt know anything about the humanity, but after Sapiens i realized that i was seized by delusions, i was like a puppet, and i started to ask myself, and i opened my eyes, and understood that i had been wrong for a long time. But now i am atheist thanks for u, i accept myself as a gay teen, and my life became much more better . Thanks a lot Yuval.

I can't wait until nobody has the slightest interest in anyone else's sexual preference or identity. As far as I'm concerned, it's all just meh...

Whether something is natural or unnatural is irrelevant. People use this almost as synonym for good or bad but that's a fallacy. There a tons of things that are natural that are not desirable (cancer, carbon monoxide, jealousy…) and a lot of 'unnatural' things that are desirable (medicines, technology, birth control, ..).

Emotions such as love are natural, they are kind of natures shortcut in situations where being rational might put you or your genes in danger. You don't count spider legs and get scared at 8, you get scared at the sight of anything spider-like even if it turns out to be a toy. As a straight man it's hard for me to rationalize being gay, but I equality do not have a rational explanation for why I love my girlfriend. We can't really help ourselves, can we?

So, then why do we try to stop murderers from murdering...if it exists, then it must also be natural? Isn't the desire to murder also a natural desire in humans, just like sexual desire, hunger, lust etc.? Where does one draw the line with this idea of "natural" impulses? And no, I am not likening homosexuality to murderers, I am just addressing your explanation of what is reality and natural, because frankly the things I mentioned are all a reality and very natural...
