doing homework far to late is absolutely ridiculous when I do homework I usually do it before dinner.

I'm sure he does want rest! These kids are in school for seven hours and then they're expected to come home and do more. They're overtired and overstimulated. I was in bed by 8 when I was his age. Of course, structure and discipline needs to be set in place but I don't blame children for being overwhelmed.

We used to get over 8hrs of homework in private grade school every night.. I’d be up all night every night trying to get it done and dead all day in school .. it was def unreasonable .. we all got severe back problems from the amt of books we had to carry too!
