This village is part of a country, which is inside another country that is itself inside a country! 🌏
What? 🤔Haha yeah, that’s exactly what I said when I discovered this.

It’s true, it’s called a “double Enclave” or an enclave inside an enclave, and it’s a particular situation that happens when countries can not agree on another way to make the border.
In this case Nahwa and Madha which belong to the UAE (United Arab Emirates) 🇦🇪and Oman 🇴🇲 respectively are both inside the UAE. The reason is that years ago when these countries declared independence, the people living in Madha were given a choice on which country they wanted to belong to, and the elder people at the time, chose the Sultanate Country of Oman, which at the time was a more promising economy.

Thankfully these two countries live in peace and these weird border situation has never been an issue. ☮️

The crazies part is that for someone who lives in mainland Oman to go there, they actually have to drive into the UAE for hours just to reach another place inside their own country.
The world is actually full of these kinds of situations, go explore!!!

I see our Caribbean islands (only former British colonies) similar to a house of one family. Each room represents an island of either a brother or sister. In order to enter a brother or sister room, we need to knock and ask for permission to enter. This prevents conflicts and shows respect love❤😁.
