Minor correction- The Hindu Nationalists usually deny the Aryan Migration Theory.

When we say ANI it has some proportion of Steppe ancestry (As per genetic study but some ppl calling them Aryans. It does not mean higher castes have Aryan origin. Entire India has some percentage of Steppe ancestry.

It is amazing how so many of our own people do a terrible job of representing India. I mean for example, ancient India was huge and this guy has a map of ancient India that goes to Pakistan? So ancient India stopped in Pakistan? So who ruled Afghanistan in ancient India? Who lived there? No Hindus? No Buddhists? No Jains? No one? I mean in Mahabharat they reference Afghanistan. The oldest parts of Afghanistan were known to have Hindus, Buddhists, Jains, and Aryans. All these people are linked to India then. Afghanistan was part of ancient India. And this guy acts like a British map of India is Ancient India then?

It’s actually the opposite. Hindu nationalists totally reject Aryan migration theory and leftist-liberals and political parties in the south are the ones actually believe in it. I liked the scientific part of this video, but the part about Indian politics is poorly researched. But I give a thumbs up 👍 to this video anyway for their effort in making this video which is 90% accurate.

I am a student of history. We always read that Indus valley civilization was much more older and far advanced civilization. It was established much before Aryans came in India. And the downfall of Indus valley civilization is still unknown.

I am from central India and had my DNA analyzed by 23andme. My father’s side came back with haplogroups only found in Norwegians and Ukrainians. They postulated that this was part of a population that migrated around 10, 000 years ago (last ice age). My mother’s side came back as Tibetan. For my wife, from North India, it came back Sardinian and part Syrian. It really gets your head spinning about who we really are.
