I also like to mention that he stayed true to his hateful nature in his death and not try begging for a second chance

Jjk in a nutshell is just Sukuna's redemption arc

i personally disagree with your take on him being redeemed and feeling like he took the wrong path. to me it feels a lot more like “well i died, if i got another shot id do something different” it doesn’t feel to me like he regrets how he lived, more like he’s curious on how he could live

Sukuna: " So I am the villain."
Gege: " I am *always* to steps ahead"

Sukuna's ending was truly satisfying, but still... There was so much build up about tengen and kenjaku... Like huh??? Tf you mean we just never be talking about it again??

The child that doesn't feel the warmth of the village will eventually in some way we'll burn it down sukuna is the extreme of this.

Am I the only one who liked the ending? Like this is way too hated for not even having officially released yet.

Not gonna lie i see sukuna as the force of nature

He fights and he destroys he is like the punishment itself for every crime everyone does he is like a devil that will kill you without seeing your sin and crime

Making a villain change without redeeming them is a fun spin on the usual talk no jutsu thing. Good job Gege 👍 The whole love motif paid off well.

there was no redemption tho 💀 him saying he would most likely take a different path if he ever was to come back, doesn’t change what he has done throughout the thousands of years hes been alive

Its not that Sukuna thought his path was wrong. Heck, he never said he regreted his actions, he told Mahito this much.

He only acknowledged that he had another path he could have walked like Yuji was trying to show him, he acknowledged Yuji in the end.

He is now curious to see how that other path is. He isn't redeemed, Yuji simply onpened his eyes to what else he could have done and now Sukuna would like to see what he could do different next time.

Sukuna is someone that will live in the present no mattet what.
