Well first off we saw team Megumi working together to find and capture the Cursed Technique user who made the woman’s boyfriend have those weird bug eyes from last chapter, however after this short mission we get small updates on various different characters continuing to do what they do as sorcerers as Sukuna’s spirit walks through an infinite black void leading to the realm of Curses. On that path he runs into Mahito who was sitting there sulking after his loss to Yuji, telling Sukuna that he never expected to see him there, as Sukuna more or less says that now that he’s lost he wants to try life from a different path then the one he’s already gone down, meaning Yuji DID get to him in the end and convinced him to try living a normal life for once if he ever reincarnates, as Mahito yells about being the only one left unable to pass on after everything that happened. In the final page we see a shrine with Sukuna’s final finger as the door creaks open and it’s left open ended what happens next, but fans online either really like this ending or hope that it’s setting up a part 2, meanwhile OTHERS have started to compare it to My Hero Academia’s ending saying it’s actually even worse than that, so what do YOU think? I thought it was a good chapter and a great send off but there’s so much that hasn’t been finished with kenjaku tengen megumi sukuna and hell even yuji all of them still have so much more to explore and so many plots just hanging I understand if Gege doesn’t want to write jjk anymore that’s fine but I feel like the story should still be being written

It’s a good ending, leaves the door open in case they wanna do more with JJK but also concludes the story we saw. People are forgetting this is just how stories end remember Star Wars? Took us a long time to get prequels and sequel movies for it. sometimes it’s nice to end things openly

Y’all know that one scene from SpongeBob where the bikini bottom is in a state of mayhem and chaos with the citizens running around like headless chickens while SpongeBob tells Patrick they did a good job and saved the city? That’s what this ending is with all the loose ends left hanging. Like to name a few, the big three families all in disarray after the zenin get massacred by maki, the gojo lost their ace in the hole Satoru, and the kamo lost their head in Kenjaku. The higher ups left a huge power vacuum with really only gakuganji to take the helm, tengen’s barriers on the verge of collapse now that they’ve been killed and merged with Sukuna’s remains, the whole world knows of Cursed Energy/Spirits thanks to Kenjaku and the Culling Games, Tokyo is a cesspool of cursed spirits atm thanks to what happened in shibuya and shinjuku. And what’s the main cast doing? Walking off into the sunset. I have never seen a more accidentally callous and shallow cast of characters as the jjk cast is in my time consuming media. All because gege decided to not elaborate on any of the world building and geopolitics he set up, favoring a mind numbingly repetitive gauntlet against a hedonistic man child who we find out in the last chapter actually did have a messed up past, but none of that matters now.

It's was never gonna end in a way that made everyone happy... I enjoyed it, was it a perfect ending, no, but I'm not gonna let that ruin the fact it was an amazing manga and definitely read it again at some point
