Black & White Photography Tutorial | Photoshop (ChromeDesigns)

Creating a pure black and white Picture in Photoshop CS5 extended. Computer had a nervous breakdown so i was working off of a 256MB laptop for a week! So hence the no tutorials in a while!

Thanks for your time in doing this video. I use many different pieces of software and they all have different 'hot keys.' I could not possibly keep track of them all, moving from package to package. Doing everything with hot keys is not a way that I can learn effectively, since all of these packages use different keys. Maybe I'm getting older, but had a hard time understanding you... Just MHO... Thanks for your efforts, I'm sure they've assisted other... Take care.

Only problem with this method is you have to use a decent image in the start with detail. If it's a regular photo, when you mess about with the levels or the threshold it just makes half the detail lost in the black.

Straight forward tutorial on producing a stencil effect. I'm using Photoshop Elements 14 with no problem. A few tips in there which helped, such as the solid colour. Thanks for you loading.
