The Mortal Instruments is a fun storyline but I enjoyed Book 1 and Book 6. I am enjoying the other books in the series in the Shadowhunter so much more. I love that you remember the reading order cause I had to look it up multiple times so I didn't mess it up.

The Shadowhunter books are one of my all-time favorite series, but definitely think they read a ton better back when they were being published in the early 2000s! I can see how people might think they're cringey now, but reading with the context of City of Ashes being written in 2008 might make it a little more bearable 😂❤
