The events of the prequels saw Jar Jar Binks propelled from an exiled gungan on the relatively unknown planet of Naboo to a Senator of the Galactic Republic. Jar Jar Binks name was etched in history as the senator who first proposed giving Chancellor Palpatine emergency powers, a decision that was instrumental in the formation of the galactic empire. Unfortunately after the formation of the Empire, Jar Jars life took a turn for the worst. Although I still believe that Jar Jar may have secretly ruled the galaxy as Palpatine's secret master, at least according to canon, it seems as though Jar Jar went into exile after Order 66. The people of Naboo blamed Jar Jar for Palpatine's rise to power, casting him out onto the streets as a disgrace for the remainder of the Imperial period.

After the Battle of Endor, Jar Jar became a street performer and a clown and it was said he was very popular with the children of the planet's capital theed. His performances included tricks with his tongue, catching fish in his mouth and spitting them out through his ears as well as juggling glombo shells. In a twist of fate, Jar Jar often found himself performing for children who had lost everything to the empire he helped create and were now seeking refuge upon his homeworld.

Despite his popularity with refugee children, many still regarded the gungan with disdain due to his actions in the clone wars. They hated him so much that many refused to speak to him and treated his name as a curse word. Some despised him to the point that they even believed Jar Jar Binks and Darth Vader to be the same person.

However, Jar Jars fate was not all bad. 5 years after the Battle of Endor, Binks encountered a young refugee named mapo. The boy had lost all his family during an imperial attack which had also left him severely disfigured and burned. Binks explained that he had many mistakes in the past and that is why he is an outcast. The boy told binks that unlike everyone else, he did not believe it was Jar Jar's fault that the Empire was created. He also asked binks if he could train him to be a clown. Jar Jar Eagerly agreed and for the first time in many decades, Jar Jar finally had a friend.

Long after his death, the ancient Whills noted that Jar Jar was someone to remember in galactic history, solemnly stating that his heroic acts during the battle of naboo and the clone wars were overshadowed by one well meaning mistake that changed the fate of galactic history.
