What Was The Terrible Fate Of Palpatine’s Forgotten Cyborg Son? In his spare time, Emperor Palpatine was a bit of a player who had many concubines. This led to a few rumored children, including the powerful force wielder, Irek Ismaren. However, one-day Irek was mortally wounded. His mother attempted to bring him back with cybernetic warrior implants, including 8 lightsabers that were fused to his limbs. However, before his memory was restored he was awoken by the Yuuzhan Vong invasion of Coruscant. Now calling himself Lord Nyax, he killed his mother before using the force to enslave an army of citizens to break into the Force Nexus within the ruined Jedi temple. He eventually got to the force nexus, using its power to throw giant chunks of rock at the invading Yuuzhan Vong ships. However, the ships retaliated with orbital bombardment, killing Palpatines rumored son.

*Fun fact:* Irek Ismaren's mother, Roganda, was a jedi youngling in her early life, surviving Order 66 at the age of 3 along her Jedi Family in a distant planet. Upon reaching adulthood, Roganda became famous for her beauty and her wielding of the Force, thus attracting the attention of Palpatine, who decided to make her his concubine. Looks like good old Palpy knows how to treat younglings with more courtesy than Vader 😉

By the way, Roganda's name appear carved on a wall in the "Kenobi" show

The fact Ismaren died while fighting against the Vong it's pretty *IRONIC* if we take into account that Palpatine was obessed with creating a powerful military force that could defeat the extra-galactic invaders. At least he died honoring his father's goals...

It's pretty curious the great amount of Star Wars stories starring children of Palpatine. Too bad most of them are pretty bad written or simply not developed enough.
