M&R, I-Image ST (1 Print head).
This video show a little of what a poor nozzle check looks like, and what a good 100% clear nozzle check should look like.

In addition, this gives a sweet tip on what you print your nozzle checks on. The “White sticky back vinyl sheet”! This can be put on one old junky screen that you might not use any more (but has to be clean enough to run through the machine safely without head strikes). Once in place, you then use this every morning without changing out any paper. You use this repeatedly for all of your nozzle checks. Once you’ve printed your nozzle checks, you can wipe if off with windex spray and a paper towel. Some people keep a bottle of isopropyl alcohol and use the to wipe it down. Since it’s covering the entire live print area, you can also use it to test print a color to confirm your detail is there in the art and will hold. Also, excellent for printing halftone curve test for dot gain control.

This saves on both SPRAY TACK, Eliminates any tack you might get in your surrounding environment and also saves on paper. I get these from any local sign shop. They will most always have a white color. You will need a sheet that is larger than 16 x 20”.
