Sayidi is also referenced as Sayyidii, Saidi, Saidii or Saiidii. It is a basic and popular rhythm in Egypt, the Levantine Arab countries in general, and the Middle East. Sayidi is part of the Baladi Family of rhythms, and it is frequently used by belly dancers.
