I doubt that any Human Being would want to fly with the Orcs.

Throughout my travels, going back many years, I have always studiously avoided flying on Russian Airlines! They were always bad, with planes susceptible to catastrophic failure whilst taking off, landing, or in actual flight! Slava Ukraine!🇺🇦

I am glad to see Western sanctions are affecting Russia economically.I hope this latest round of sanctions squeezes them even more. In time, Russia's economy will be reduced to the same level as their barbaric behavior and they will be living as the barbaric country that they are.

As much as I hate to think about it, those planes are going to be made to fly with passengers onboard until they start falling. A tragedy is a matter of time.

This will trickle down. If their airplanes cannot be certified, they will be unable to land at foreign airports. If a foreign airport allows them to land without certification, it creates a cascading effect where other airlines serving that airport will have their insurance raised. If your terminal is next to a terminal where uncertified and unmaintained russian airplanes are landing, that poses a huge risk for your airline. If an airport allows uncertified russian planes to land, and there is any type of accident, the airport will be bankrupted.

I read today 5 August 2022 that ruZZian pilots were being told to reduce their braking on landing to save wear on the brakes and to use reverse thrust to slow down. Another person in the same article was advising pilots to cut back on fuel usage at the same time as not using brakes. Aircraft separation on approach in the#russianterroriststate has had the distance between aircraft increased so the landing aircraft has more time to vacate the runway and almost eliminates the chance of a _go around_ by the following aircraft. No idea how long a set of brakes lasts but that is indicating the sanctions are taking an effect in one sector. Not sure about the wanting the fuel usage reduced. Maybe there is a western fuel additive they have trouble getting. 🤷‍♂
