You can try this also

Let width= x
So length will be =x+4

Given = 2(l+b)/2 = 36
We will cancel out 2 🖕🏻

so our result will be
l+b=36
We have taken L= x+4
And B = x

So, x+x+4=36
2x+4=36
2x=36-4
x= 32/2
{x =16}
So width is 16 m
And length will be x+4
16+4 = 20m. ANS
