I get the feeling that maybe Koepp is going to take more stuff from the original Lost World novel since it was barely touched in the Lost World movie.

I would bet good money they’ll be filming in puzzlewood and shortwood and possibly the Brecon Beacons again. Those areas are great for jungle and dense woodlands without the scale of Californian redwoods.
These locations were used for fallen kingdom, Snow White and the huntsmen, the force awakens and local to that area is Monmouth where they film a lot of Dr Who

But I felt like Jurassic world just made all the dinosaurs into evil snarling monsters, and the designs made them look less like animals and just movie monsters.

I am definitely down for more colorful dinosaurs especially if we are getting a lot of the same species like trex trike and brachio again. Would love to see them with new variants

Instead of asking what is this island I would ask WHY is this island? I thought that Fallen Kingdom established that there would be no need for islands. But, of course, then Dominion happened. It’s almost like they had no idea on how to tell stories with dinosaurs on the mainland. Thank heavens for Chaos Theory so far doing a good job with that area of interest.

I hope they make raptors scary again. We had 3 movies where they continued to tell us that if they hadn't gone extinct they would have become the dominant life form on earth and then they turned around and made them into pets. We even know they are wild on the mainland via the dino tracker website but all we get are the trained Atrociraptors. Idk I just want them to show us how effed we are against the intelligence of a raptor like they lead me to believe for so many years.
