This gotei is carried by Kyoraku, Toshiro, Byakuya, and Zaraki. Kensei and Shinji are powerful in their own right though we don't get to see that because writing shafted them hard. Iba is literally just there, Isane isn't even a combat oriented captain so she doesn't count (Squad 4 is healing centric), Lisa was kinda just filler for Squad 8, Rose could've easily beaten Mask if he had just kept his damn mouth shut, Mayuri is pretty much the same physically but his hax get better and better, lieutenants like Renji and Shuhei are genuinely powerful enough to be captains and could reach massive heights with training, and Rukia just got promoted after the war. She also fodderizes Lisa, Iba, and Isane.
