I remember seeing this trailer in the theater, and everyone was laughing their asses off, particularly at the ketchup and mustard scene. When it ended, everyone started talking...lots of "that looks hilarious" and "oh I'm gonna see that one" etc etc.
I wish I could convey how different this movie was from everything else at the time. A true classic.

Its something not generally commented on...but I think the advertising campaign for Dumb and Dumber was really brilliant too...particularly on the posters where they were both on the bench, taking the piss out of the forest gump posters...I still remember that and it still makes me grin...and it was pretty ballsy too as a piece of marketing!
