The Michelin CrossClimate2 has historically been strong in the Grand Touring All-Season category, a consistent, high-level tire that continues to impress. An excellent benchmark to test against, our team has seen significant improvement across the board by its rivals.

Our evaluation used 2022 Subaru BRZ Limited test vehicles fitted with new, full tread depth 225/40R18 tires mounted on 18x8.0 wheels.

We have Michelin Cross Climate 2 tires on both our Outback and Forester.
We get 5-7 feet of snow every winter and live 5 miles from town on a private road, that we have to plow and maintain ourselves.
We drive on the Cross Climate 2 tires year round.
We’ve found them to be Awesome tires on dry, wet, slushy, snowy, logging and forest roads.
We recommend them to everyone

Own these on a GMC Yukon Denali in snowy New Hampshire. Best all season tire I've ever had. Great in all conditions, especially snow. Have about 30, 000 miles on 'em with little apparent wear. Was initially concerned that they might be 'noisy' with the aggressive tread pattern. THEY'RE NOT! Don't think they have any significant effect on gas mileage, but if I were concerned with MPG, I wouldn't be driving a 6.2 liter 420 HP GMC Denali, now would I.

I’m after fitting a set of these to my wife’s Subaru forester Diesel, they sound like they were made for the car with its all year round performance. 👍🏻🇬🇧

After one year, I am very happy with this tire.

Just bought these for my 2020 CRV and holy crap these tires are awesome. We don't get snow here in SC and so far I haven't had them in rain, but just for daily driving around town and at highway speeds these tires are smooth & quiet. I'll see how they wear as time goes on, but first impressions I believe these may be right up at the top of my "favorite tires" list.

I have these on my Outback 3.6 touring and they are great, very good in rain and quite and smooth on dry roads wearing very well and even, no complaints! I’d buy another pair when these wear out!

just coming back here to say after 50, 000 miles with these tires they're right around 5:30 second and they still stick like glue in the rain and snow

Both of our cars have these - don’t have much snow but they do perform well on ice here and have also done fantastic on rain. No compromises in my opinion. Tread wear has been pretty even (in disclosure, I’m religious about rotation and keeping car in balance)

2018 Lincoln MKZh, 30k on CC2, I live in the North east and drove year round on these, through snow and rain, best and SAFEST tires in my 60 years of driving, no drop in mpg ( 42 ). Not a performance tire but confident on all road surfaces . Jim Ferere

Are these recommended for Toyota Sienna Van

Here is a question . If you mount the cross climate on the left side with the arrow tread pointing forward, which looks normal . If you take that same tire and wheel to the right side, the tread is now what looks to be backward ! Does this affect them ? Is there an inside and outside of these tires ? Or just mount them all facing forward and never change sides ?

You promised winter test results in the last video from over year ago ;)

Why aren’t these available for trucks and full sized SUVs? We have a Toyota Sequoia with 270 55R20 and just wondering why not if they are such great tires.

Do these tires, or any of its variants, have a reinforcing bead protecting the rim?

I don't get it, at the very beginning of the video, the category of "Grand Touring All Season" tire is mentioned, yet the CC2 is not that, it is an "All Weather" tire.

I’m in the mountains of Colorado and drive a 2019 Subaru Forester Touring. We had a new set of Goodyear all season tires mounted on it in early December. Two days after purchase we had a six inch snowfall. It’s rather hilly where we live and after three near misses and almost getting stuck if not for the impeccable traction control of the Subaru we drove back to the Springs and had the lesser priced Michelin Crosstread mounted. This is our third winter with the same tires and could not be more confident on our roads year round . Highly recommend these tires on any car, truck or van. Rain or shine, snow or icy conditions they are still whisper quite

I've owned the CrossClimate+ (which is terrible), The CrossClimate 2 (which is good) and the Nokian Encompass. The Nokian is THE best in the category in terms of winter traction and tread wear, and it isn't even close.
