I have these on a 2020 Subaru Forester Sport. We have 57, 000 miles on them, still look and drive like new.

I have CC2’s fitted to two of my cars and I have to say I don’t think there’s a better tyre out there. Total confidence in all weathers and situations.
Highly recommended.

I have them on my 2006 Accord and after 2 years and 18, 000 miles they're still great in the snow. Recently we've had 5 inches of snow and the car drove by and I passed three pick up trucks struggling to grip.

2018 MKZh, In 60 years driving these are the best all weather tires, good for up to 4 inches snow, any more than that I wait for snow plows then drive, and very good in wet/dry, no loss of mpg ( 42 ), same handling as the tires that came with car ( Mich. MXM4 ), have driven two years around now in Northeast winters with confidence in all conditions .

Nice! I just got some of these today. I live in the Pacific Northwest, where our winters are generally 40 degrees and rainy, sometimes going below freezing, and rarely snowing (like 1-2 weeks a year). I was going to get snow tires but I realized they'd suck except for 2 weeks out of the year. I hope these do well!

I'm having a set fitted this coming Thursday (16th Nov. 2023) having done quite a bit of research. Look like the best all rounder for road use in varying weather and surface conditions out there and much cheaper than running 2 sets of rims and tyres.

Quietness is not considered this tire's strong suit. I run them on a 2021 BMW X3 M40i and a 2011 Ford Escape Lmtd. They are grippy, and have unparalleled wet road performance, and excellent general performance in all seasons and all comditions. Their grip creates additional rolling resistance, and they'll reduce gas mileage, and, as well and subsequently, are not quiet relative to most competitors.

I run these 12 months a year in Northern Ontario...after decades of running snow tires in the winter, I wouldn't trade these for ANY snow tire...these tires are shockingly good. I just had my third set installed (three different vehicles...Avalon, Maxima, Rav4) on our new Rav4, I gave away the OE all-season that came with the car...garbage by comparison.

I have these on the front of my Volvo v70 and I still have my old defender 2s with allot of tread in the back. I’m really hoping it was just the rain but I just spun out. Michelin says having different tread patterns is ok but I’ve never hydroplaned like that in the 40, 000 miles that I’ve driven this thing. I am planning on installing the crossclimate 2s as well on the rear.

Thanks for the review. These are excellent 3PMSF All-Weather tires with 5 year/60, 000 miles/100, 000 KM warranty. Here are some of my experiences with 2 sets (H & V Speed) of them on a KIA Niro HEV (OEM Micheline Energy Saver A/S 205/60/16 H - same OEM size set as Toyota Prius V) and a set of Micheline X-Ice Xi3 winter dedicated tires. Daily drive min. 5X/week: 62 Miles/100KM country road & towns up to 55 MPH/ 90 KMH. Always go through a single lane small circumference sharp round-about 2X daily at @ ~37 miles / ~60 KM & 4X daily over a sharp 30 degree yield corner with 15 degree angle road grading directly over slippery train tracks @ ~25 miles / ~40KM in dry, wet, slushy, icy & snowy days between ~104F/40C - ~ -40F/-40C) :

H-Speed rated (OEM) - Harder compound with softer side walls (lighter tire) : Just a little bit of more MPG and wares down just a little bit slower with less cornering performance, grips and a bit less noise with more comfortable ride. Used for 59, 650 miles/96, 000KM with 5mm (6/32nd) tread depth left and sold them for 50% of what I paid for (tax & installation included) and bought a new set of V-Speed rated. MPG is a bit better to about the same as the Micheline X-Ice Xi3 in winter.

V-Speed rated (H not available at my local Costco) - Softer compound with harder (more steel belt reinforcement, heavier) side walls: Less MPG due to extra weight and softer compound while wares VERY little bit faster than H-Speed with MUCH better grips, cornering & stability performance in all weather conditions especially in deep snow due to the more pliable soft compound that does not effect by winter temperature (as low as -40F/-40C with wind speed in my area). Just a bit noisier and harder ride. One of the tire got a nail few days ago after driven over 24, 900 miles/40, 000 KM and only cost tax-in $22.03 with Costco 5 Year Road Hazard Pro-Rated Warranty as only about 1mm out of 10mm was wared off (mathematically it may last 198, 800 miles/320, 000 KM when wear down to 2mm tread depth)!!! MPG is about the same as the Micheline X-Ice Xi3 in winter.

I do prefer the V-Speed rated ones currently on my daily vehicle; however, that is just a personal preference. Never put rating that is lower than the OEM tires as that is the minimum safety standard the vehicle is tested on.

Due to the unexpected early spring & winter temperature swing that could be as much as 59F/15C differences between the days or even morning & night of ice forming in my 1, 200+ feet latitude area, beside making sure the tire rotation and pressure are checked regularly I no longer have to wonder when to or not to or regard to swap tires while saving the cost of purchasing & swapping 2X per year towards the next new set of tires that has 95% more stable, comfortable and safer than either the OEM or the dedicated winter tires (poor in stopping distance in dry/wet/slush conditions compared to CC2 in all temperature & road surface conditions except ~8% better in traction & stopping on icy & snow covered-non slush surfaces)

I run these as three-season tires because they give me an edge when I'm late mounting my winter set or early removing it.

Thank you for the good personal review. I have a 2008 Honda CR/V with Firestone Destination tires. Despite the very negative reviews the Destination tires have gotten, mine have treated me well. But, they are geriatric now. To replace them, I have ordered a set of Michlin Cross Climate 2's from my tire vendor. Every review I have seen places these tires very high on the list of preferred all weather tires for an SUV, even Consumer Reports. I am looking forward to trying these puppies!

Best tires I ever had. Michelin is without a doubt the best.

I come from the motorcycle world.
Some « riders » talk vanitous crap all the time, and always try to buy the cheap tire option, and bla bla bla-bla-bla.

But at the end of the day, Michelin always settle it.
They are the best tires for motorcycles.
So, that kind of video doesn’t surprise me.

Michelin never sleep on their past, their always innovative.
Thanks to them.

Just wondering how they perform in the snow and ice? I live in Southern Ontario, Canada. Thanks

These look a lot like the Michelin HydroEdge I used to have on my 2009 Camry.. GLORIOUS in the rain. Just got a 2024 Camry and planning to get these as soon as my dealer has a tire sale

Nice, to the point review! I would have liked to hear what you are comparing to? If you were driving summer tyres all year round before, this is of course a huge step-up in cold and wet conditions or in snow. But compared to switching twice a year, as most people do here in Denmark, I wouldn't expect them compare all that well.

I just bought a set, a couple of hours ago. I was afraid that they were going to be noisy, so I took it on the highway. No noise whatsoever (at least I could not hear the tires above the wind noise on the car itself).
