DJI Mini 2 Flight Time Battery Test

The DJI Mini 2 is rated for 31 minutes in a controlled environment. But did you know you can use the DJI Mini 1 battery in the Mini 2? In this video, I do a standard hover test of the Mini 2 with the Mini 2 battery. The second hover test, I put the Mini 1 battery in the Mini 2. Unfortunately, you can not use the Mini 2 batteries in the Mini 1. So how long will they last in the air, watch the video to find out.

thank you so much for using the MAVIC 1 battery. the only worry I had before upgrading is not being able to use those expensive backup batteries for mavic one. I am very happy to hear that I can use the same batteries.
Most big channels are not showing this. underrated video for sure!!!

The result is to be expected, considering that the batteries pack similar energy figures:
2.40 Ah * 7.2 V = 17.280 Wh
2.25 Ah * 7.7 V = 17.325 Wh

I've watched a few of your videos when I was looking to buy a drone and decided in the mini. I've been looking since the mini 2 came out for a review about the batteries as I have recently purchased the mini 1 and wanted to know if I can use the batteries in the mini 2 and if the flight time will change. This is the only video I found. You get my sub for that.

Just got mine and did some flying the other day managed 23 minutes in chilly weather 5 Celsius without pushing the battery limit. In warm weather probably would have got a few more minutes. I’m happy with it tbh good performance.
