If you have a surround sound system, turn it up for that bridge scene. You hear gunshots in front of you then the ricochets behind you. You want to duck and cover. The sound design was great.

THIS is still one of the BEST 90s flicks ever. It has aged wonderfully and is a modern classic. I've been a fan since my childhood and this film has a big place in my heart. Absolutely outstanding production value. Out of competition.

This movie was unfairly underrated! This movie was great special effects for the time, great costumes, a great cast and an amazing soundtrack.

It’s a shame that this Rocketeer and Phantom were not major hits in the 90s I thought for does the film about a Pulp adventure taken place in the 1930s it was absolutely fantastic

Pretty decent movie, I must say.
Warren Beatty’s Dick Tracy, Tim Burton’s Batman, The Shadow, The Flash 1990 TV series, The Rocketeer, The Phantom, Spawn (yes, Spawn), Blade, were actually a pretty good upgrade from the 70s and 80s cartoonish superhero depictions. Of course today’s comic book movies are much better, but they owe a lot to the 90s.

I don't remember much of the movie, but I remember the flying magic knife in the beginning as an awesome special effect! Old school comic book movies were much better than today with a lot less of money and technology! The 80's and 90's and some of 00's I consider as an golden age of Hollywood!
