This is my favorite backstory for this character: a man who has to repent for his wickedness, who hunts lesser evils then himself, and only his shadow can be seen. Now, that's an inspired, brave reworking of an already great character.

I loved this movie! Anf Jerry Goldsmith's score was INCREDIBLE! And the first time that I remember seeing "Galdalf" as the scientist, Dr. Reinhardt Lane played by Ian McKellen! ;)

I had a chance to hold the "Hero" prop dagger, it was damn cool. They had three, a metal one for dialogue and general slow scenes (That's the one I held), a rubber one for action, and of course the CG one for when it came alive.
