WILD 2000+HP STICK SHIFT SUPRA - WORLD RECORD 6 SECOND PASS!!

This is the first and only “stick car” to run 6 seconds in the quarter mile! Grannas Racing “Orange Man Bad” Toyota Supra blasts a 6.90 @ 194 in the quarter mile on a h-pattern faceplated T56 “GR1000F” transmission kit. This car is also IRS.

The car has seen 208mph in the quarter, if you watch the video you will see the car glitches and shuts off electrically at about 1000-1100 feet into the run hence the low MPH (194).

Great job bro. More of an American muscle guy but I had the privilege of working on Vinny Tens supra like 20 years ago and a few others over the years. I have always respected these cars. Also having put cages in them. I know they're far from a light car. Takes a ton of very hard work every where to accomplish what you have. It's a shame most will never understand how big of an accomplishment this is.

I think to myself sometimes that the sentence “6 second H-Pattern car” just doesn’t make any sense and it must have be an insane high seeing the car you guys over at Grannas have built for years finally break that barrier and prove everyone that it’s possible to reach your goal, you just have to put in the work. All the years of literal blood, sweat, and tears paid off and I know that, just by the reactions of the whole team.

Shutting off like that right at the end of a run at high rpm and hot af cannot be good for the turbo. Or would it still had had oil pressure from an auxiliary pump?
