1) How many subjects to peruse each day.
2) Do we have to read as robots or add to our reading something to increase our likelihood of aligning it with the demands of the examiner in the UPSC/SPSC.
3) Is it even possible to remember and then critically analyze questions, linking them with the current affairs? Is it human? So much of information, in less time.

4) Do qualifiers miss questions in the mains - how do they write every question? Don't some of them come beyond the knowledge of the aspirant.

5) Speed matters in the mains examination, besides content. Does speed come with constant revision and writing, or is there as element of something we may be unaware of? Nagging pressure is there in the examination hall, with hard-hitting questions staring us square in the face, followed by less time to ponder over questions properly.
How do we manage all of these? It's extraordinary, sir, to me.

Thanks a lot for reading my questions; I would really appreciate if you just could just throw enough, doubt-clearing light on these issues, so I may start my prep any day now.

PS: I, 26.5 already, recently got my master's in history. Yet to start the prep. Was considering of taking Anthro as an optional subject. History has a lot of jargon. Your comments, sir.

Thanks once again.

Margin of error is very low in easy papers. I qualified last year but missed this year (my 2nd attempt). I was getting 90-92 due to silly mistakes and after seeing the polls I was hopeless. Now leaving the prep for good.

No answer key
No response of representations
Transparency in UPSC is go to hell
Result is itself unfair because no candidate know which answer is wrong and which is write.

Respected sir,
I've been following your You Tube videos and they helped me a lot.
I'm in the last semester of graduation 2nd year. I am an UPSC aspirant. Actually I started my preparation a year back but as usual due to the distractions or few family and health issues my preparation was stucked. Now I'm going to restart it. If you see, I can give my 1st attempt in 2025 immediately after graduation but I think that I should prepare for 1 year (from home), and then the next year will be for verifying myself through tests (or may include classes)of any offline coaching. I am thinking to give my attempt in 2026 because I want some offline exposure and experience of students so that I can understand at what level I stand among serious aspirants. As I'm from a small village of MH where not any offline English newspaper and not a single library is available. So I do not get that competitive environment, I want to deal with this environment before giving my attempt. I don't wanna give any attempt in halfway preparation. Yes I known that many people crack their exam by preparing at home but either they are from city or they already got that competitive exposure or they don't need it. I want your thoughts upon this! If you think it's not gonna worth it then I'll follow your advice.
please reply sir 🙏🏻

General category students failed to qualify even after scoring 98... even after qualifying CSAT

The question is.. Is Govt exam really for General candidate students?

Its high time General category students unite and start raising voices.

Sir, I attempted once under OBC category during my college, and then I gave 5 attempts under the general category because my father's income is more than 8 lakhs. Can I attempt again under the general category if I want to?
