Come to think of it, I remember hunting with an old Winchester Model 94 with a round in the chamber and the hammer on the safety notch and not worrying about it. Every other hunter I knew that had a 94 did too.

After watching your videos especially the ones regarding Colt clones. I'm proud to say that I just purchased a Cimarron 1873 frontier model in .45 colt charcoal blue with color case hardening. I ordered a second one as well with Oklahoma gun leather brand holsters and a cartridge belt. I see a lot of fun in my future. Thanks for inspiring me. 🍻

Kinda funny I just bought a “Taylor’s” 1873 Charcoal Blued in 4 3/4 barrel 45 colt about 3 weeks ago! I love carrying it also!

I absolutely find that charcoal blue finish to be really special and fine looking. I even have looked at nickel finish SAs with charcoal blue screws which can be a nice contrast as well. Very nice mr. plowboysghost. Keep the classics coming. We need to appreciate our history and the value of marksmanship when you are not carrying 15 to 20 rounds all the time. And SA to boot.
