I have 2 ceiling lights that can be controlled from 3 separate switches. But all my switches are 3 way. They have green gold screw. On one side and gold and black on other. I thought had to have a 4 way switche in there. Somewhere. No ?

Hello when wiring a ceiling fan and both (red &black) wires are hot and one switch is a 3 way & the other is single...can I tie them both together? Because one is left hanging...Thanks
