Get Creative: Transforming Wooden Bowls With Vibrant Colors! Preview

Coloring wood bowls. I demonstrate the technique that I use to bring out the best in the grain of my oak bowls! I do a light burn on the bowl that makes the grain pop. The coloring that I use is Folk Art Ultra Dye. Unfortunately it is no longer produced. I am trying to make the best use of the remaining bottles that I have. After the dye, I use spray lacquer that really gives a great finish.

Very nice! What did you use for coloring? Stain or some kind of paint? And finished with what for the shine?
