Learned a lot from this clip, and it has given me a direction to follow in research. Am interested in the ascetics that lived around the Essene community... surrounding the Roman fort.

The Pharisees where themselves divide din 2. Durring Yeshua's minsitry Shammai was in charge, chuck's description of the Phrasies is based mainly on the Shammai branch, but after 30 A.D. the Hillel camp takes over, and Hillel was actually very similar to Yeshua in his view o the Law. And indeed in Acts the Pharasies have become the ones more Tolerant of the Christians.

Why are you citing "Priests and Phrasies" in that way? The Priests where nearly all Sadducees.
