Note to self: my cousin-in-law Lady Rothermere at 0:55 in gold skirt and dead fox over one shoulder.  Must share this with my parents who remember her well. She was 38 years old, nee Ann Charteris, second wife of Esmond Viscount Rothermere. Within a year Esmond had divorced her on the ground of her adultery and expecting a baby with the author Ian Fleming.

I think the models represent a particular era when poise and deportment were important, just as models of the present day represent the times. It illustrates how much everything has changed and not always for the better.
