My tomatoes at growth needed water 2x a day and when tomatoes grow you have to be very vigilant for it uses a lot of water

Interesting! We don't do hydroponics...no room for it. But, I've been watching your success at doing it. Our gardens are all done for the year except the Italian Parsley and Italian Sage. All the heavy frost we have been getting since mid September hasn't hurt them a bit. Enjoyed, take care!

I grew Tiny Tim’s last year in Kratky and they stretched over 2 feet and had tons of tomatoes. Don’t think these little systems are worth the money when you can use a mason jar and a set of lights and give them enough room and air space. Thoughts? How close to the plants do you put your lights?

I'm growing Roma tomatoes in a hydroponic system like this when they get too big do you have to tie them up or take them out plant them in a pot?

They're not planted in soil just water so I don't know how they're going to stand up.

First time doing this.

Which system works best, Aerogarden or Idoo? Looking to start seedlings 🌱 then move to Krafty or a tower hydroponics system.
