How To Use Pictory Ai - The Easy Way To Create Videos From Text

Pictory Ai is a new Ai video creation platform that can take any script and turn it into a video, using the power of Ai.

You just upload your text and Pictory will find and add video clips, it will generate Ai VoiceOver, subtitles, creates text captions, resize your content for short form platforms and more.

You can even edit entire videos just by editing text.

Pictory has a free trial plan to get started. And then have monthly subscriptions plans if you want more credits.

I’ll show you some of the most useful options inside Pictory for generating videos using Ai.

I’ll show you the script to video, article to video, editing video with text and visuals to video overview.

Once you create a Picture account, you can click script to video. Here, you can paste in your script. If you don’t have one, you can use Ai writing tools like ChatGPT to help you turn an idea into a script.

Then, you can choose a template based on the style you want. You can preview each style by hovering over it.

Then, you need to choose the video size. This depends on the platform you are publishing to. 16x9 is for YouTube and 9x16 is the vertical format for TikTok and Reels.
You can change this later too.

This will quickly turn your script into a video. You then have a lot of editing options such as changing the video clips, backgrounds, text and VoiceOver audio.

Once you make the changes and are happy with the final result, you can generate the video and save it.

The second useful tool in Pictory is article to video generator. You can simply give it a URL link to an online article or blog post, and it will create a video with Ai.

You can then choose which portions of the article you want included in the video and remove the ones that you don’t want.

Then, you have all the same options as the script to video.

Next, you have edit video with text inside Pictory. This one is very powerful.
You can simply drag and drop a video you’ve already made. Then, it will transcribe it and you can literally remove words and sentences you don’t want. It can even remove filler words with one click.
