Dr. Jones,
About 3 to 4 decades ago I developed alopecia in a few spots on my head. I had thick and healthy looking hair and wss really upset. I am not a dog or a cat lol😅. No doctor knew the reason but I eventually had a thyroid panel done, by a different MD. We were trying to start a family, The results
came back and showed I had an off the chart TSH level. It was so high that this MD ran another blood test and it was still the same.
Was diagnosed with Hashimotos Thyroiditis,
which left me with hypothyroidism. I was put on thyroid hormones and eventually the spots affected filled back in. But neither doctor thought the alopecia was from the thyroid. Never had alopecia again. But, have been on thyroid hormones ever since. Dr. JONES, do you think thyroid problems could cause alopecia....even in dogs and cats?? Do you think that melatonin could work on people too ? Thank you. So happy you reached 1 million subscribers 😊.

I use aloe vera gel to my dog and it helped but dogs should wear cone to defer licking coz its not good for their stomach.
