It irritates me so much that people come out as bisexual first and then later come out as gay or lesbian. I don't care if that's easier for you. You taking the easy way out gives people the horrible misconception that bisexuality is a phase and doesn't actually exist. Being bisexual is not a choice. Bisexuals do not have to choose one or the other. Take the time to get to know yourself before you cowardly use someone else's identity as a way to shield yourself. It's not fair and it's not right. I will be bisexual until the day I die. A lesbian can marry a woman and still be a lesbian right? Getting married to one person doesn't erase the attraction you have for people. News flash! Bisexual people are people too! Shocker, I know. Just because I marry one person does not mean my attraction for people disappears. I am in a long-term monogamous relationship and I am still bisexual. Stop using bisexuality as a stepping stone. That's like a straight girl getting hurt by a guy and then calling herself a lesbian because she doesn't want to be with guys anymore. When she's not hurting anymore, she'll go back to dating men because she was never a lesbian to begin with. Lesbians wouldn't like this right? It's the same thing with bisexuals. Get to know yourself before you go around professing that you belong to some group, because if you "change your mind" (aka realize what you actually are later), it reduces the legitimacy of that group in the minds of all the people you encountered. Bisexuals are not unicorns, we are not invisible. We are people who deserve respect simply for the fact that we are people. Just. Like. You.

Just going to throw in my two cents and say Snooki (from what the site said) doesn't sound bi, she sounds straight who occasionally likes to experiment. THERE IS A DIFFERENCE.

And Ke dollar sign ha sounds more like a pansexual than a bisexual

For a long time, I've kind of known that I was bisexual. I can trace my feelings for the opposite and same sex back to when I was like 6 years old. For a long time I used the fact that I still liked girls to justify ignoring liking guys and therefore maintaining that I was straight. After educating myself though, I've come to learn how important it is for bisexuals, especially bisexual men, to be out and proud. We are definitely one of the most misunderstood people in the LGBTQ+ community and by being out, we can help encourage those who are not to be comfortable and confident with who they are. I am a proud bisexual man!

In all honesty I think you may love whom ever we choose men can love men, women can love women, what's to say that people can't love both as love as they love the person and they make each other happy it doesn't matter

In grade 7 I liked a girl for 4 months. She found out two months in, and pestered me about it. When it was over we laughed about it. Afterwards, I liked a guy in one of my classes for maybe two months, or three. I've fallen in love with a friends sister, and I thought I was over her once but then I fell all over again. this proves that it wasn't just a phase. I liked her for a year in total. I still can't talk to her properly, she still makes me smile. Recently, two months ago I realised that I've fallen I love with my best friend, and before that we never labelled us as anything. We knew we were more thsn friends, less than lovers. But I fell for her, and I still am in love with her. It's not something I chose because it hurts, and I realised I loved her when I moved country. It's been a year since we met in person. I generally find men and women attractive. I frequently crush I both genders. I think this proves my bisexuality. It does exist, there's nothing else to it. I'm a girl, btw.

Brian Molko (Frontman of Placebo).
Also: the best question - so, are you into men or women? Yes

Coming out as bisexual was terrifying for me because, as you say, if a celebrity or famous person has an open same-sex relationship, their past different-sex relationships are completely ignored. There are no examples to follow, even as someone who doesn't follow pop-culture particularly closely, I just didn't know how people would react. My Dad doesn't accept it, he seems to give me the impression that he wishes I am a lesbian or straight, not in this grey area.

I have a gay uncle, a bisexual brother and many bisexual, gay and transgender friends. But I myself, feel ambiguous when it comes to my own sexuality. I'm probably bisexual but don't really identify as such. I don't announce it to family and friends because its none of their business. If I came to a party with a woman or man they will just have to accept it or not associate with me.
