HMPV is a new thing which is all the sensations new channels are been creating and the new virus which has come and WHO warning and the Chinese one is. Normally there's no need to detect because with 48 hours they are self-limiting and it improves with a common cold symptom. There's rarely a necessity of testing but since there is an epidemic. We really have to know the cause and viral cultures are difficult it's mainly a PCR based testings and government of India and ICMR they are doing random sample testing and we have detected few cases in India especially in pediatric age group. There are few cases and since it spreads like any other with droplet infections and signals and awareness have been created about this at this point of time.
