I agree! Everyone kept telling me to buy a commercial grade….I mean I mow 2 flat acres.

I Just purchased mine today i had to pay $3600 if i would have purchased it two weeks ago i could have gotten it for $3300 I'm hoping it's going to last many years I still have my 20 year old Husqvarna it's a great mower with over 1800 hours on it and still runs great I'm hoping this cab cadet serves me as well as it has i never owned a zero turn but i think im going to like it

I got one today for $1600. It cuts and runs, starts right up, everything checks out and is in pristine condition. Not sure why it was so cheap but I got a steal.

I just bought a zt1 on sale for 3099 for 42" and i already love it. It was a no-brainer for me seeing the kawasaki motor.

I own a lawn mower repair business. Cub Cadet keeps the lights turned on. I currently have 3 of these in my shop. 1 is this exact model. They look good and that Kawasaki engine is strong. Most common problem I see is weak tension spring on drive belt. Too weak and too long. MTD at it's best. They actually put a great engine on a cheap made machine. Doesn't even have a fabricated deck. But they look good.

You can find mtd blades 3 for like 40 bucks online. Change my ztx4 every spring. It's been solid for 2 years so far. Always change oil, filters etc. Mow about 10 acres every other week.

You got the one with a good engine, but that machine is still made by MTD.?

Good deal stuff never goes on sale when I need it

Not sure what your manual says, but if you want to make that engine last. Make sure you run either straight 30 weight, or run small engine specific oil like Amsoil small engine 10w-40 or the Kawasaki oil. These air cooled engines need different oil than cars

I just bought a brand new ZT1 50 with the Kawasaki yesterday from Home Depot for $3, 400 I'm gonna use it for the first time to mow my acre and a half tomorrow but when I got home last night, I rode it around the yard and I noticed that the LED lights are not very bright at all Not sure why... it sucks that CC couldn't put an hour meter on it from the factory, so I ordered an oem hour meter last night. Hoping it's a good mower. I was gonna get a bad boy, but the price point on the CC with the 50in deck was cheaper than the bad boy with the 42in. Thought about buying the Seat suspension kit for mine.

You have my sympathy. I bought a C.C. 7254 Compact tractor in 2012 and it ran a whopping 312 hours before the hydrostatic transmission failed. That's right, no forward and no reverse - nothing.
Of course, the warranty had just expired.

What a piece of junk!

Cool I will be there around noon or so but I will be there

Should have bought a Hustler Raptor X, save $600 right now.
However, that's still a nice mower

Would this work as a first mower for starting a landscaping company?

Love mine. Had it about three years no problems. Don’t see the point of the lights they aren’t that bright.

Not a big fan of cub cadet as a shop owner but they do seem to have a somewhat solid product here, especially if you get one with a fabricated deck.
