I think I will go with the HobbyZone Aroscout that has all the S.A.F.E. tech. It comes RTF for $199.00 that includes battery, receiver, transmitter, and charger. I fly without SAFE mostly but sometimes its nice to use when you land, or to hit the "oh crap button" when trying new tricks. Far better for total beginners! By the time I buy a reciever, battery for this one, it will only be about $25 difference in price between this PNP one and the RTF with all the bells and whistles. But this is a great plane and as always love your reviews!

They are great planes. The aero scout has safe so it is a very good trainer. I bought an e-sky eagle canopy and it was exactly the same.

Areoscout comes with safe mode. How to equip Esky Eagle with safe mode without the electronics from Hobbyzone (Spektrum) ECO system?

ive got the aeroscout version and i can say its worth every penny. its the only plane i take with me everytime i fly, and yes i can go very fast in manual mode once i almost sh... my self dident expect it to go that fast. i will never sell it you can fly it almost everywhere what i cant with my 2, 5m span cub
