Alert is good in solo queue for seeing the killer aura across the map when they kick pallets / gens, + if you pay extra attention you can tell which areas are now dead zones and try avoid those areas. I honestly think Alert is underrated.

Alert is to just know where the killer is in solo Q. Its not for looping. The 1 second that you see the killer actually moving gives you enough info to estimate where the killers going

Best survivor build in the game is No Mither, Self Care, Finesse and solidarity. But you can also swap out solidarity with Dramaturgy

the alert being here is crazy. Really good info for solo q considering the killer's aura is read during ANY break action, not just on pallets, and with an infinite range. Really good to know where the killer is if they kick a gen.

I agree on all but alert.

Alert also procs on gen kicks not just pallets. Means even if all pallets are gone it can still give reading.

Also its a 5 sec duration, 2 sec on a pallet kick 1.5 on a gen kick so you still get more than half the time of aura reading. Run it with eyes of belmont for 7 seconds and you will always know where they are going for easy mind games.

there is also no range on it so you can see it proc and know where killer is exactly when kicking gens or pallets cross map

And lastly while it negates the aura reading it still makes a sound effect when stealth killers break things which is useful not just for knowing early you are against a stealth killer but for killers like ghostface/chucky or who run undetectable perks you can know when the power/perk is active or not based on sound effect if you can or cant see aura

these perks are pretty strong sometimes they are big game changers but I see what you mean about overrated.
I have to disagree with unbreakable though because its not really overrated I think everybody rates it normally.

Alert isnt overrated. Killers are constantly breaking pallets and kicking gens, it also tells you how many pallets are being broken while your team is in chase, use it in loops to see which direction the killer is going after breaking the pallet, and even though its pretty useless agaisnt stealth killers, it will still tell you if there is a stealth killer like ghostface before you even see them as you still get the audio que. And now with eyes of Belmont, the aura reading is a little longer

I think the fact that OTR blocks aura reading for 80 seconds after unhook make it pretty good even if you're not being tunnelled.

I feel like the main benefit of deliverance is not that your teammates may leave you to die if you didn’t use it, but that they don’t waste time getting off generators to save you

I would say that deliverance actually is better when playing with a team because we can coordinate for the player with deliverance to not get first hooked and get the rescue. Also they can hang while 2 are doing gens and 1 is looping.

Bro, Alert is one of the best solo Q perk, it doesnt only help you in chases but even just seeing where the killer is generally if they kick a gen on a wall.

Alert is useful to know where the killer is in general. I don't use it at all during chase, there are better perks if that's what I want. But knowing at least the direction of the killer when you're doing a gen for example? Golden
