*ForceBuilders* Revell 1/4000 Imperial Star Destroyer - Part 1

So today I will work on the last Star Wars kit that was release last month base on the new Rogue One, a star wars story, movie coming next month. This is the new Star Destroyer ship form the the movie that is at a scale of 1/4000. At over 15in its quite sizable for this ship and surprisingly detail. With the light and sound that comes with its pretty cool kit but the built in stand feet kinda kills the look. never the less I am planning to build and paint this kit the way it should look!

I have a couple of the Revell Star Wars snap kits. I understand that they are basically toys for kids, but I have had issues with the amount of effort I had to use to get some of the parts together. I don't see how a kid could assemble the kits.

Did you hear that Bandai is now be able to sell Star Wars Kits in the US again. Also the rumored Star Destroyer that you said may come out the middle of next year.

In the last Gunpla Talk last ep the rep from Bandai stated that there is going to be a (Big) announcement in the summer time. Hopefully is the release of a 1/100 Star Destroyer

I'm a Star Wars nerd so I know right off the bat that an Imperial Star Destroyer is 1600m which is about a mile in length. According to a quick Google search, the SDF-1 Macross is 1210m in length.

I've built models since 72 and I can honestly say Revell is without a doubt the worse model manufacture on the planet. The side walls are way to short, Star destroyers engine color is white not blue, and don't get me started on the "landing gear" Disney executives should have their heads examined having Revell destroy their brand by putting out shit like this!
