I just dropped 350$ on a sony trinitron 24FV300. Its worth every penny. You’re not going to find one for cheap, and you’re not going to find one at any thrift store.

First off most crt are garbage . When did people start thinking every crt looks great . Second I've got a fully modded Wii with all retro games porta adapter to hdmi component cables and an m classic . It looks better than any crt . You people are delusional

if you have a rare model crt tv with nice connections like scart rgb, i am ready to buy from you even if you ask more than $300, i have many crt tv, and i know if you don't buy a nice rare tv today, you will not buy in the future because it won't available again,
free tv is always a good happy thing but need time and patience to get a nice condition one with amazing picture

Nobody is giving them away for free anymore. Usually listed for $50 or more and they don’t even say what video inputs the tv has.

Your miles will vary. Typical CRT no name heavy load with a few inputs usually recommend at no cost.

Some CRTs should be free, but actually decent condition and higher end CRTs should be. You don't expect to get given an old car, so why should you expect to be given an old TV?

I have a crt to that came with our new old house and my dad really wants to throw it out. I’m protecting it and it’s good so far.
