Uber drivers refuse service to passenger with guide dog

New video shows two Uber drivers who refused to drive a woman who is visually impaired and requires a guide dog to travel. Rogelio Mares reports.

This happening because too many people just say their Pet is a service animal, so it making harderd for people to belive people. If u are not allowed to ask if its a feeling pet or an actually service trained animal. It going to to continue to happen.

And the other reason why they get refused service is because they pick the most hairiest fur shedding dogs such as the golden retriever as pets, they shed like crazy and no one wants to deal with all of that in their cars. Small short fur dogs I don’t mind.

This may be unpopular but i think guide dogs for the ‘blind’ should have a higher status than all these ‘service’ and emotional support animals that anyone seems to be able to get. My first dog was born the same day as me i have always had dogs i go very few places without my dogs and I’m pretty sure i could con a ‘service’ dog status pretty quickly without too much trouble.

The problem is that too many people are lying and accusing the service animal policy just to ride with their pets that aren’t service animals. As an Uber driver myself I ensure that their pets are certified with the proper tags and vest pets have to wear, if not, then I can refuse to pick them up or they have to pay the Uber pet fee. I had one lady that tried that with me with her golden retriever, she told me it was her service dog, I asked for her credentials and vest because she didn’t have a vest on the dog, she told me she didn’t have one, then I asked for her service animal card, she didn’t have that either. No ride for her.

Its should say on her profile that she has a dog. This man got fired. Hes deathly allergic to dogs AND the bread winner in his very large family. She has no job and supports no one. Why is her disability more important than his health and large family?

Uber has a uberx and uber pets, you made choice used uberx, and someone's car isn't public access, my car is my private property, tou could have used uber pets without a problem but you want to be stubborn and cause trouble
